Homeowner FAQs
Once your loan has finished transferring to Carrington, you can set up an online account by following the few short steps at myloan.servicedbycarrington.com/homeowner/valon/transfer. You’ll need your Carrington loan number, which you’ll receive in the early communications Carrington sends to you.
You can begin making payments to Carrington after your loan’s transfer has finished. Learn about the payment methods Carrington offers.
Usually, but not always. If your automatic payment information is being transferred, you’ll be notified in the early communications from Carrington. If it’s not mentioned, you should assume it’s not being transferred. You can set up, edit, or cancel automatic payments from within your Carrington online account.
If you have an escrow account for your tax payments and/or insurance premiums, the account will transfer. Carrington will continue collecting these funds and making the payments on your behalf.
